Where It All Began
Carpe Diem was founded in 2011, created by Remi who had previously been in the metaphysical industry for many years. We are a wonderful destination that is growing in essence every day.

Every crystal in our collection is carefully sourced from trusted suppliers around the world. We've created a sanctuary where ancient wisdom meets modern wellness, offering authentic tools for meditation, healing, and personal growth.
Remi
Remi has been part of the metaphysical world in Adelaide since 1973 when she participated in a course in Port Pirie title Your Spiritual Gifts'. Growing up in a cafe on Yorke Peninsula saw Remi behind the counter, serving the customers from age 10. Retail must be in her blood as her great grandmother had a lolly shop at Wallaroo Mines in the 1800's. Remi's passion is sourcing products from around the world that have a personal meaning, which touch the heart and soul and add ambience to the home.
Mel
After working in Personal Assistant roles for many years, Melissa took a break from her 9-5 role, to become a 'stay at home mum', a job that has no set time structures in place. For several years, she stayed home to look after her two little bunnies, Emma and Ethan, and her big bunny, Paul (her hubby!). In January 2013 Remi came to Dubai to visit Mel & Paul for a holiday and an inspiring idea struck; that of joining forces and building an online store: Melissa to run the online business, Remi to source unique treasures & dispatch orders and Paul to come up with new ideas and offer support.
